Boys & Girls Club Bloomington
Ongoing · Bloomington, IN
Apex Foundation supported the completion of comprehensive security evaluations across all Boys & Girls Club locations in Bloomington, identifying vulnerabilities and delivering actionable safety improvements. We followed up with several in-person trainings focused on active aggressor prevention and response, ensuring staff are prepared and confident in a crisis.

Forest Ridge Academy
2022–2023 · Schererville, IN
Apex Foundation supported Forest Ridge Academy with multiple in-person training sessions on active aggressor prevention and response. Teachers and staff walked away with practical, real-world skills to protect their students and act decisively when it matters most.

AmeriCorps — Boys & Girls Club of Indiana
Ongoing · Statewide, IN
Apex Foundation supported the development and deployment of four online learning modules for AmeriCorps members serving Boys & Girls Club sites across Indiana. Covering how to identify a person in crisis, de-escalation and incident avoidance, evaluate and act, and building a security culture — this training reached staff holding positions across more than 45 BGC sites statewide, creating a meaningful, lasting impact at scale.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Indiana
2026 · Ongoing · Bloomington, IN
We brought the same four-module online safety training to the dedicated mentors and staff at Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Indiana. Equipping the people who walk alongside vulnerable youth every day with crisis awareness and response skills is a natural extension of our mission to keep children safe.

The Warehouse
2026 · Ongoing · Bloomington, IN
The Warehouse is a free, faith-based community recreation center in Bloomington — a place where kids of all backgrounds come to play, connect, and belong. Apex Foundation supported The Warehouse by bringing the four-module online safety training to their staff, helping the team that opens its doors to the community every day stay prepared to protect the young people they serve.
